RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP MEANS YOU SHOULD FOLLOW THE

TWELVE GOLDEN RULES

rule

Having trouble training your dog to be a responsible dog? Having trouble training YOURSELF to be a responsible dog owner? You need to check out Puppy Wish.com! Believe me, it will be the best thing you ever did!

1. Train your dog in basic obedience so he/she will be under control at all times.

2. Feed your dog at regular times and don't give snacks between meals.

3. Feed your dog from his own dishes, which should be washed and stored

separately from those of the human family.

4. Keep your dog on a leash anywhere near a road or where there are farm animals.

5. Do not allow your dog to eliminate in parks, buildings, on sidewalks, lawns or open spaces where children play. If the dog does eliminate, make sure that it is picked up and disposed of properly.

6. Do not allow your dog to be noisy and disturb your neighbors.

7. Provide your dog with his own bed. The best choice is a suitable crate.

8. Never take you dog into a food store or restaurant. (The exception is a service dog.)

9. Keep your dog clean and well groomed.

10. Having puppies is a huge responsibility. If you do not wish your dog to reproduce, spay or neuter as soon as your veterinarian suggests. Think carefully about this!

11. Make proper arrangements for the professional care of your pet when you are going on vacation.

12. Have your veterinarian give your pet regular check-ups, vaccinations, heartworm, flea and tick protection.
